This 870 Style Tonometer is designed on the principle basis of the Goldman tonometer. It can be connected with a slit lamp (Carl Zeiss type). Extremely Accurate!

This 870 style applanation tonometer is designed to fit slit lamps with a parallel optical system, some examples to include Topcon SL-2D, SL-2E, SL-2ED, Zeiss 100/16 and 100/125 and Marco IV. Reading accuracy is obtained regardless of corneal radius or scleral rigidity. Doubling prism tip easily removable for sterilization.

Characteristics:

·It’s used to examine the eyes, and it can also measure the intra-ocular pressure while working with a slit lamp.

·Extreme Accuracy. The total tolerance is less than ±0.066KPa (0.5mmHg).

·Direct measurement of intra-ocular pressure.
